Not true. The game's status is in-game.
I don't blame you, since the system UI is missing from the git builds you can't see what you're doing and what you see is not a loading screen, there are messages going onscreen that you can't see and you need to do the correct combination to get forward in the game.
The game is pretty buggy and tends to crash but atleast you can play a bit with it.

None of those actually, you need to memorize by heart what you must press when the screen is not responding or wait for Henrik to fix the git builds with the UI ellements.

You can also just copy the Assets folder from the official 6.1 release into the directory of the git build...

I'm on Windows 7, running PPSSPP 0.7-345.

The game is unplayable. After the language select, the game fails to recongnize the memory stick, only going on with "reduced functionality". Then the opening cutscene successfully plays (to my surprise), and it goes in-game, where the problems arise. Only a few surfaces and sackboy himself are visible, and the pop-it doesn't seem to work. Sounds, however, seem to all be in order. Finally, the game seems to crash after about 1 minute of playing it, with sackboy disappearing shortly beforehand.
