Savestates aren't compatible between versions. Move your in-game saves instead..
As for the hanging, I dunno. Are you using the US version? If so, it's not hanging for me. The way I test it is: go into a mission -> press start -> return to mission select screen. Does it not hang when you do this?

They're in your memstick folder. So just load your in-game save in 0.9.1.

I don't think anyone really knows what causes it at the moment. It's probably a CPU bug. If one of you guys has the patience, maybe try and see if it still happens in interpreter mode? It'll take a long time though if you don't have a beefy PC(or I guess extremely beefy phone/tablet..).

And what about some cheat? I tried that One Hit Kill cheat but it doesn't work for me. Does anyone know any cheat that can help me beat PW?

I have yet to have any issues in boss fights. I'm in chapter 3 and fought Peace Walker with no problems. the only issue is that it may seem like health isn't going anywhere but in fact it is.

Ok I tried the US version and the European version of Peace Walker on 0.9.1 and same flaws. It will not load the first cutscene and will not allow me to complete any mission without crashing. If someone is having success on Android please let me know what settings you have. Someone mentioned interpreter mode I can't find that anywhere in the settings

Ah, so it's happening on Android..I do all of my playing, developing and testing on Windows, so that probably explains it as well. Also, to enable interpreter mode, see this picture:

Just be warned that not using Dynarec (JIT) will seriously slow your game down. It'll probably take at least twice to three times as long to get through the intro videos to check.

Jit disabled but no change. The first cutscene just sits on loading but doesn't finish loading even after 10 minutes.

Do you have the Atrac3+ plugin? If so, is the BGM or SFX(whichever affects the sounds during that part) volume set to 8?

It worked. The first mission it ran super slow but it worked.
Mission 2 crashed just like before. Guess I need to go back to an earlier version.

Do the data install get through the flavour text that explains all about big boss then I get an endless loading screen.
Using a Samsung Galaxy S4 Latest Git build as of typing. Same issue on 9.1.
