RE: port for intel x86 android phones??
http://androvm.org should be useful for testing the x86 build as it has GPU support. It also includes the ARM emulator from the x86 Android devices so should be a pretty close to the real thing for testing.
Its pretty important to get x86 support working IMO as the ARM emulator only supports ARM v6 and its likely if this emulator is ever really optimised for Android it would benefit from ARM v7 support, breaking its compatibility with x86 Android device completely then. Personally I am really hoping they update the emulator to ARM v7 support as that will open up running a LOT of Android apps on PC under VM, right now most games do not work as they are v7 optimised. |

I'm very excited to know if its possible to get it work on an Intel chip x86. Coz I'm using one (XOLO x900) if your searching for a device to test on and I'm ready to that. And by the way thanks for the help.

Newest version doesn't launch on Grand X In with x86 processor. Are you planning support for x86 architecture yet?

RE: port for intel x86 android phones??
so lenovo k900 has been released in some countries, and it's using dual core 2ghz intel x86 proc with clover trail+ and power sgxvr544 (its benchmark is as good as sgs4)
with more x86 android phones with high end spec coming, i guess it should be better to include them for the next build, intel proc will have a smoother gaming experience once it can run ppsspp without emulating ARM anymore |

I won't have time to get it done for 0.8 but I will do my best to get x86 support working in 0.9.

RE: port for intel x86 android phones??
I have now pushed some fixes for android-x86, including FFMPEG. Works on the android emulator on my PC.
I think an atrac plugin update might be coming soon as well... |

I managed to build an x86 only version, aaand the good news is.. it works! it doesn't crash anymore!, the bad news is, if jit is enabled, 3d graphics become corrupted beyond salvation, I can upload a picture if you want but its like garbage, interpreter version is just fine, and 2d graphics are ok even if jit enabled. If someone else want to give it a try: http://www.dropbox.com/s/5vmz7x1s00jih99/ppsspp.apk |

Which games did you try? Are 3d graphics corrupted in all of them?
