RE: Gran Turismo
As far as I know, it's playable, but the text and mipmap issues remain. You can't fix the text yet, and you can fix the mipmap error by turning it off.

But if you want to collect the cars & use the game seriously then its In game still, as the Lack of fonts showing correctly does stop you doing a lot in this game. |

RE: Gran Turismo
Title: Gran Turismo.
Genre: Racing Game ID: UCUS98632 Region: USA Format: ISO Version: Windows 7 (x86). Wowser........updated PPSSPP to Git Build v0.8.1 - 1249-g8e22554 Noticed massive speed improvements all round in this game. Only problem I could see now apart from the Fonts issue is a slight screen flicker using Buffered Rendering. Edit: Flickering solved by Unticking Multi-Threading option. Please note: No need to use Unlock CPU Clock option as game runs full speed in nearly all places now. Thanks Developers in speeding up this Awesome game. |

RE: Gran Turismo
The flicker only happens if multithreaded is checked, no?
I don't get screen flicker without multithreading, even in buffered rendering mode. I'm using the same build, v0.8.1 - 1249-g8e22554 |

RE: Gran Turismo
Unknown and I have fixed GT's text, finally. Once this is pushed, GT will more or less be perfect in compatibility.

Yep, the game can be moved to Playable now by the mods. The fix has been merged into master with v0.8.1-1639-gad40ef6.

RE: Gran Turismo
The game is fully playable now, great work, guys.
There are only a few problems left: - Some stutter in the intro movie. - Mipmapping breaks in-game textures. This also happens in other games and will be improved when the mipmapping implementation gets better. That's what Henrik said. - Screen shaking caused by the Temporal AA. (Not exactly a problem) The Mipmapping bug is avoidable by turning off Mipmapping, so it's not a big deal. |

Quote:Screen shaking caused by the Temporal AA. (Not exactly a problem) That's not a bug; it's how the game renders itself. That said, I would imagine a hack of sorts(as in, a ROM hack-like hack, similar to a translation patch, not a hack in PPSSPP itself) could change how the game renders such that it doesn't do said antialiasing effect. 4GHz AMD 3900X, 32GB DDR4 RAM, 6GB Nvidia RTX 2060, Asus Crosshair 7 Hero (Wifi), Linux How to ask useful questions: https://web.archive.org/web/20110214010944/http://support.microsoft.com/kb/555375 I'm not Dark_Alex, nor do I claim to be.
