RE: Crisis Core Final Fantasy VII
Anyone running this game well on Android? Trying to run it on my nexus 4 but getting slowdown, if I could OC the emulator with cpu unlock would run flawless, so close... It jitters and slows but on the verge of being smooth.
Iv read of some saying it runs great on their phones. There doesnt appear to be any options to cpu unlock in menu or ini, would overclocking my gpu make much difference? Seems to be that my fps in-game is at 30 constantly, VPS jumps around 35/40/60. Any advise to get it running smooth? Iv played around with the in-game settings and get much better results with non buffered rendering, no frame skipping. |

The CPU Unlock function is here:- Set it to something like 60 - 80 MHz for this game. A bit higher if the game starts to spaz out. PPSSPP Modern Testbed:- Intel Core i5 4690K @ 4.0 GHz NVIDIA Geforce GTX 760 2GB GDDR5 VRAM @ 1138/6500 Mhz 16 GB DDR3 RAM @ 1600 MHz Windows 7 x64 SP1 PPSSPP Ancient Testing Rig:- Intel Core 2 Duo T9550 @ 2.8GHz ATI Mobility Radeon 4670 1GB GDDR3 VRAM @ 843/882 MHz 8 GB DDR3 RAM @ 1066 MHz Windows 7 x64 SP1 |

I'm running v0.8-1-2g0cfbde for Android (Ouya) and I don't get that CPU Unlock menu. I'm able to get it to run decent, constant 30 FPS, 50 VPS most of the time but it will dip into 30 VPS in battles and certain areas. I have this setup: Hardware Transform Vertex Cache Mipmapping Bufferred Rendering Frame Skipping: 1 Hoping the Ouya port comes soon... |

So far, i've played through the game briefly, and I am quite impressed with what I see. It works really well...considering past issues with emulators on my side.

RE: Crisis Core Final Fantasy VII
Does anybody else have a problem on android where ppsspp freezes when you try to access save point? Sometimes it freezes for a moment and shows save slots, but with other save points (first save in forest) it always freezes.

RE: Crisis Core Final Fantasy VII
For some reason save points in this and a couple of other games can be extremely slow ... just wait and it will work. I haven't figured it out yet.

RE: Crisis Core Final Fantasy VII
Don't know if anyone else has this problem but it seems like if you are using the patch JPN audio dub version of the iso the game will hardlock when using "Lucky Stars" during battle.
here's a the video of it happening http://www.twitch.tv/seattlefootclan/c/2812098 This was done and recreated on Windows 7 64-bit PPSSPP 0.91 |

RE: Crisis Core Final Fantasy VII
You really should use save points from time to time too, as save states are not compatible between different versions of PPSSPP.
