hey guys i'm using the ppsspp ver 1055 to get past the soma black screen, and it worked! i'm one of those guys who used the 1611 version but didnt work.

in the 1055 just fast forward and wait for 10 minotes or so, i kinda left my pc, when i get back the save game prompt was there. Now i'm currently playing the burst part of the game.

10 mins? It's like the emu can't decode properly some kind of video or something?

I think it's kinda relate to ffmpeg,i think @daxtsu has mention it before,also I think @unknown also said the same thing.maybe some commit doing it.but fast forwarding for 10 minutes to go to save screen,that really long,what it doing at that time,it should take at least 3 second to load the savescreen in normal way.

Look on the previous pages of this thread, in a post on the past page it is mentioned a build as workaround for the black screen ending.

It seems that on the ppsspp-v0.8.1-1706-g72f597f build a new graphical glitch popped up, as you can see from these 2 screenshots:

EDIT: Clearing a quest fixed the issue and not only that, I'm not experiencing it anymore no matter all the tests I'm doing.

For Android, 0.9 build, There is a glowing screen problem, it runs perfectly smooth now but the graphics are distorted in several areas, including the background. Please update this

To avoid the blur issue disable buffered rendering.

the game runs at full speed in xperia z with 2gb ram and 1.5 ghz quad core
