By the look at your screenshot you are using the official 0.8.1, ditch it since it is too old, instead download the latest build from here (look under "Automated PPSSPP Builds"). Using the same settings on different pc doesn't mean that you will get the same results, most of the times those graphical issues are caused by the GPU (amd/ati are a bit bugged in these circumstances), still I suggest you to try different settings, generally speaking buffered rendering, mipmapping and antialiasing can cause these sort of glitches, so try to enable/disable them.

i just noticed that my netbook is using AMD radeon HD 6320 and my PC is using nvidia Geforce, i think thats the main reason of this problem. Its still not working even though ive used the latest build from automated PPSSPP build and tried different settings.

maybe i just have to wait for a newer and better version/build later

As for now nvdia gpu get the spotlight, maybe implementing the directx could fix this, but my knowledge doesn't allow me to be sure about this.

No, look for another source for your problems, works perfectly on my HD7850 with 13.4 drivers.

No, look for another source for your problems, works perfectly on my HD7850.

Could still be faulty on certain AMD cards with certain drivers.

The both of you never did compare driver versions, so we cannot know for sure, unless we have more AMD card owners with different cards reporting in about this game, and whether or not they have this issue for their card.

Just like the FF IV text issue that affects only AMD cards.

So I got everything working nicely except for some audio crackling/popping.




I'm using the 64-bit version of PPSSPP v0.9.1-1264-g05fda6e from HERE.

I've tried every configuration combination I could think of in the settings, so if anyone has any ideas or knows of one that works, I'd be super appreciative and eager to try it. I know performance will differ drastically from one PC to another, but I don't have a lot of options at the moment.

PC Specs:
W7 64
Intel i5-4570 3.20GHz X4 CPU
AMD 7950 GPU
12GB mixed RAM
240 Mushkin SSD
750W Corsair PSU
