Gold vs free difference and game question

Hi!

Could you tell me what is the difference between free and gold ppsspp versions? Performance? Graphics? Or only price?

And there's problem with Need for Speed games. I can't play any of them on my LG Optimus L7, crashes after EA logo. But works on HTC Desire X with same settings. Burnout Legends, Assassins creed bloodlines works normally, but no need for speed
