RE: Digimon Adventure
I tested the game in v0.8.1-566-gbb5a1e4 in the save point "our war game - mid". Sometimes the emulator loads the next area in the "Exit" door, it's random (i think sometimes by pressing X and O works, but i don't know, some doors sometimes works and others always you get stuck in the limbo.
In the areas you can get access you can fight with out any problems. Update: savegame to test. The next "Exit" is the area with infermon, in ppsspp always gets stuck, (tested in v0.8.1-574-g3703599 default sets). |

RE: Digimon Adventure
Confirmed: The following episodes of the game can't be playable with PPSSPP (rev.v0.8.1-574-g3703599)
1.-Our War Game, Beginning 2.-Our War Game, Middle Reason: Fail to load the areas in the "internet" after enter in the "EXIT" doors of the dungeon. Playable part:"Our War Game, End" there's no problem in this section of the game (no internet dungeons), no problem with the cutscenes or in the fight. I hope some day Henrik fix this little issue in the game. I have a laptop with intel core i3 and ppsspp works like a charm, but playing in jpcsp i have 5-15fps. Thank you guys and keep up the good work! pd: Tested original & language patched game. |

You have to play "Our War Game:Beginning & Middle" in JPCSP emulator . Defeat Infermon, save the game and play in PPSSPP again. The game works great after the two unplayable episodes (in OWG: End there is only a video of the exit door). You can play the crossover arc with out any problem (also new game+). Well i hope Henrik watch this issue to make de game 100% playable. |

RE: Digimon Adventure
The Data install is for fast loading times on the real PSP when you play using an UMD. It copies some files on the MS so the game takes less time loading. In this case of the emulator that option is not necesary since we use ISO files so the loading times are faster (except for JPCSP which due to it being writen in java it makes it so slow to load the games).

RE: Digimon Adventure
While we're on the subject: The only time data installs are needed is when games like Peace Walker require them to even start or play. There are very few games that actually require a data install though, luckily.
Other than that, they're pretty much not required, nor even useful, on an SD card, hard drive, or solid state drive. 4GHz AMD 3900X, 32GB DDR4 RAM, 6GB Nvidia RTX 2060, Asus Crosshair 7 Hero (Wifi), Linux How to ask useful questions: https://web.archive.org/web/20110214010944/http://support.microsoft.com/kb/555375 I'm not Dark_Alex, nor do I claim to be. RE: Digimon Adventure
Thanks for the answers, so basically "Install Data option" in the emulation terms of this game is not important.
Well i report my progress testing for the "stuck in net" issue: The emulator sometimes loads other areas with out getting stuck (75%). The area with "Infermon" always fail. pd: Check my savedata of the game in my other post Rev: v0.8.1-761-g7d1b604 please keep the good work, i want to see the 0.9 with this issue solved |
