Looks like the problem is more serious...the last time I tried the game only till the main screen but it looks like the game don't work at all after the first fmv(freeze on black screen and this time it stays there)

guess so,the us version also take time atleast 2-4 seconds when loading,i have the jpn demo in my android,but it stuck/freezes when to show the opening fmv.usa version seem fine on the latest version,it might affect the jpn and euro version I think

Well I have the USA version and everything is working fine(fast loading and no black screens)on v0.8.1-132 and not on anything newer

Guys, have you managed to pass after "HOPE" storyline (difficulty 6) ?
It goes black screen forever, I even made a save state so anybody can see for himself, I tried disabling pretty much everything, even audio...

Since you can't use savestates on different versions, I use v0.8.1-330-g3643345, also in log this is what I see that keeps going on and on:

Try something below ppsspp-v0.8.1-140
I don't know how you all are able to play this game but at least here when I try new game,after the first cut scene,the game freeze on black screen on anything above ppsspp-v0.8.1-132

I tried even 0.7.6-1161, it took 26 mins to beat the boss without cheats working properly on older build and I STILL got the neverending black screen, tried holding tab for over 5 mins and nothing appeared, even if it were still playing it would've long ended from fastforwarding, perhaps this works only on jap ver...sad we can't go further as of yet.

And here's what I find at begining of movie clip and afterward black screen (after 1st end)

@finalblast,seem for me it working fine using your savedata.might relate to your setting or something,do you get the movies ending?,and is it blackscreen after the 'till my life come...'

So, I was wondering if anyone else noticed the crash that happens during one of the missions. Crocodile One, in the Difficulty 2 set. I'll be fighting the Gboro-Gboro as normal, but about the time it becomes enraged, a few seconds after that, it seems to crash without reason. Just posting to see if anyone knows about this happening, or if it's some kind of regular thing.

After playing around a bit more it just seems to be that one mission in the set. I can still progress fine.

I think I don't get any crashes once I disable fastmem, but even with it activated, there's some rare times it crashes but I save game always to resume if so.

After the first ending , and the word "Till my life come"
I'm using V0.8.1-487 , then trying using old version v0.7.6-1161 ...
Nothing changed , Still it went black screen , never got to the next save screen
hope they'll fix it soon :3

I can make it for you,but you.need to.upload your savedata here.why some people can't pass the ending,i have no trouble using the 0.7.6 1161,is it becouse of the savedata.

If you're actively playing this game at the moment, stick to git revision v0.8.1-496-g7c3e171 and lower.

There is excessive bloom present in all builds after that one, starting from v0.8.1-499-g72b13d9.

Or you can use the latest builds and just turn off Buffered Rendering to make it go away for now.
