Are you running the emu from "Program Files" by chance(assuming that's Windows with a theme)?

I'm not Dark_Alex, nor do I claim to be. Our nicknames are merely coincidence.

Just an add on to my earlier post, sometimes the game will get as far as the starter battle, but at the conclusion of said battle, the screen goes black and stays black.

Is there a work around for the distorted sound? I don't even understand why it sounds so terrible XD.

No solution yet?

Haven't seen anyone else mention that issue. Try a new ISO and completely new ppsspp, see if that does anything.

Still happening. Maybe savefile conflict?

I was using JPCSP before migrating to PPSSPP.
Reply
TRy starting a new game with ppsspp then saving and reloading the new save as a save from JPCSP may not be compatible.

You should really try to redump your iso, download a new build and instead of copying the memstick folder let the emu make a new one, and start a fresh new game, and as walys try to save. This is really odd though, to me it's like some admin privileges fault.
