RE: The 3rd Birthday
I found cause of HUD blinking, it is ProcessFifoWaitEvents(); in AdvanceQuick(); I moved it to Advance(), and no blinking ! But i'm not sure about other games
EDIT: Bleh, texture bug is still here... |

RE: The 3rd Birthday
Well, I think having AdvanceQuick() there is basically a hack, but it theoretically shouldn't break things. This game seems very picky about GPU timing or something...
Question for those who might know - does JPCSP get all the graphics issues right for this game? -[Unknown] |

RE: The 3rd Birthday
Almost, in JPCSP noticed only brighter square instead of Aya shadow.
HUD is rendered properly (no blinking), also overdrive kill do not change Aya to chameleon (ie. proper effect - red "blood" texture over Ayas body). Dunno about cutscenes leaving mess in framebuffer, because FMV not render for me at all after enabling "shaders" in JPCSP. It seems it not like my HD6850. |

Jpcsp seems to have the same issue with thin veil of garbage over the graphics, however it is fixed when using jpcsp option "decode indexed textures in clut using shaders" and even when not using that option, bug does not appear always |

Three, there's no fix for it, only a hacked version which someone worked up but breaks other games, so just use that at your own risk or wait patiently for the developers to fix it. I am using this exe which has the overlay fix but I want to also have the subtitle fix as well. http://www.mediafire.com/download/gtbcqc...UN2013.rar If I could have both of those fixes then the game would be in a good enough state to record.....as long as the texture bug doesn't appear with your fix. |

RE: The 3rd Birthday
From yesterday's build update:
"Fix sceCtrl analog range for all input devices. It should map (-1.0... 0.0... 1.0) to (0... 128... 255.) However, it wasinstead being mapped to (1... 128... 255.) This was causing games to notrespect analog movement if they checked for 100%.Fixes #2363." I just noticed, controlling Aya seems to be much smoother now, and a lot less jerky. |

RE: The 3rd Birthday
I just hope there is a complete fix for this game soon....
I just want the UI/subtitles fixed without having the texture issues. When those are fixed then the game will perfect for a full recording in high resolution. |

The Third Birthday
I just finished this game. The game show two major errors:
-When you not in battle the game glitches a lot -If you skip a CG the graphics get screwed This makes hard play the game, but the FPS was constant and theres no more errors. Here some screenshots http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/43/bnna.jpg/ http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/194/6bwv.jpg/ http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/809/7rbf.jpg/ I already begin Crisis Core Final Fantasy VII. This one is working really good, expecting to play 3rd BIrthday with this level of quality. |

RE: The 3rd Birthday
Actually.. I found something interesting about the random crashes, freezes and laggy slowdowns in the episode one chapter 4, half the episode 3 and other small places.
If you download or transfer a save from a real psp, these crashes, freezes and even the slowdowns stop appearing. However, the hud blinking glitch and strange overlay after videos stand still. |
