Hrm..I had a working version of this somewhere. Give me a minute to find it.

See attachment. This one worked for me. Make sure your eboot is named EBOOT.PBP(caps matter, I think).

This one worked better than the last, however it's telling me that cygwin1.dll is missing from my computer. So I went ahead and installed cygwin and restarted my PC for good measure but the message still appears. This is turning into quite a mission haha]

EDIT: So I went ahead and put the dll in the same folder as the exe and it gave me the same error as in the image I previously posted.

Try this one instead:-

Just requires you to drag and drop the EBOOT.PBP into it, and makes an .iso automatically for you. Acts as both an extractor and a decryptor.

No messy commandlines to deal with.

PPSSPP Modern Testbed:-
Intel Core i5 4690K @ 4.0 GHz
NVIDIA Geforce GTX 760 2GB GDDR5 VRAM @ 1138/6500 Mhz
16 GB DDR3 RAM @ 1600 MHz
Windows 7 x64 SP1

PPSSPP Ancient Testing Rig:-
Intel Core 2 Duo T9550 @ 2.8GHz
ATI Mobility Radeon 4670 1GB GDDR3 VRAM @ 843/882 MHz
8 GB DDR3 RAM @ 1066 MHz
Windows 7 x64 SP1

He doesn't have a pkg file, as far as I know. If you do Joe, npdpc isn't the right tool. Sorry.

Just tried it, told me "This isn't a PKG file!". This actually the tool I used to extract my PKG. However I see no way of converting an eboot to an iso

RE: Monster Hunter Portable 3rd HD VER
I also tried adding the files to an ISO through PowerISO, which gave a different error in PPSSPP "Could not find executable"

Okay, lets backtrack a little.

Start from the beginning again.

What files do you have right now.

List them, one at a time.

If you followed daxtsu's instructions from the first page, you would have either ended up with a:-

1. PKG file

or a

2. EBOOT.PBP file

Both which should be compatible with the PSN PKG Decryptor and Extractor program I linked to earlier.

Here's a helpful video from TeamMaverick to extract and patch the game from your BD-ROM:-

(Note:- The use the toolset from PSP2PS3, obtainable here:-

Smile RE: Monster Hunter Portable 3rd HD VER
Confirmed Working on the latest builds provided by Orphis, thanks to The Dax... Yeah!!!
Though the only issues i experience right now are some missing audio (sound effects of weapons/characters/monsters as seen also in previous MH titles), and some lag in certain areas for example Area 7 in the Mountain stream map... but hey I am thankful!

Here is a screenshot:

RE: Monster Hunter Portable 3rd HD VER
You can try the new CPU speed lock option to see if it helps relieve the slowdown: go into your PPSSPP folder, open the ini file, and edit "CPUSpeed = 0" to something like CPUSpeed = 666. It'll lock the emulated CPU speed to be a higher speed(meaning it can cause even more slowdown since you're emulating a 666mhz PSP instead of a 222 or 333mhz PSP). It can correct improper emulation slowdowns, or slowdowns that would happen on the real PSP/PS3's PSP emu. Keep in mind this'll make the game even more demanding than it already is, so if your slowdown is really caused by your PC specs, this won't help. It's also a hack, so it might cause other glitches(I personally haven't seen any creep up, but you never know).

Thanks man! Hey are you known as 'The Dax' the contributor towards the recent git builds?

RE: Monster Hunter Portable 3rd HD VER
Hi guys, firts gotta say gratz for the emulator and all the progress that has been made in so little time, just wanted to confirm something, dont want to be a bother, but the only way to extract the eboot from the data000.pkg is with a modded ps3? since the extractors on the net cant read japanese characters, right?
