Hi i was wondering if it would be possible to make it so people can type out the location of where their roms are as on the samsung s4 its not possible to go to the sd card folder by normal means ( finding the folder that says ext_sd )

Interesting. What ROM do you have? For me it works fine, my phone is rooted, what I do is go first to root, then browse to the SD card I want to use.

Forgive me....despite my prof saying htc amaze im now using a ssmsung s4 using android 4.2.2 and no root sadly

Well, when it's not rooted it will be a lot harder.

Try this (Note that I actually don't have an S4, it's just my general Android knowledge.

Go to Apps > Settings > Storage

Try to look if there's a setting that says something like "set as external storage" . Then set your SD card as the external storage.
