I posted above a visual bug that nothing seems to fix it. 1. They are mono ATRAC3+ files. They need at3tool.exe 2. There are levels (and the character customization menu) that will go blacksween without HW transform off so the health bar seems the least important bug here. 4. Needs implementation/inclusion of more type of data loading. |

I just don't see how, when I had my old pentium 4 not even 1 emulator above N64 and PS1 gen worked at decent speed. Well its true but i suppose that my geforce 7600gt help a little |

For the record we have got others on the site with Celeron D CPUs and Pentium 4s running PPSSPP relatively well too. Have you tried out the God of War games yet? Those will kill your old AMD CPU. And yeah, Tekken 6 is a CPU ball buster for PPSSPP. My Core 2 (in sig which is 4-5 times as powerful as your old AMD) can't get good speeds in that game either. PPSSPP Modern Testbed:- Intel Core i5 4690K @ 4.0 GHz NVIDIA Geforce GTX 760 2GB GDDR5 VRAM @ 1138/6500 Mhz 16 GB DDR3 RAM @ 1600 MHz Windows 7 x64 SP1 PPSSPP Ancient Testing Rig:- Intel Core 2 Duo T9550 @ 2.8GHz ATI Mobility Radeon 4670 1GB GDDR3 VRAM @ 843/882 MHz 8 GB DDR3 RAM @ 1066 MHz Windows 7 x64 SP1 |

Nope, not all the time lol. It's between 45-60 VPS. Runs better with Hardware Transform off. VPS goes down to the 30s when hardware transform is on. One of the exceptions, usually HW Transform ON gives more VPS in games for my system. Can only get 60 VPS all the time if I set frameskipping to 1. 1 of 3 games that I can't get full speed all the time, the other 2 being the God of War games. I remember discussing this with you in the Tekken 6 thread when we were comparing our PCs. Clock for clock my CPU should keep up with your AMD CPU, since PPSSPP only uses one core. I think my AMD 4670 GPU still has something to do with it. I recall another user with a much more powerful system (CPU) but also using an AMD GPU also having trouble maintaining 60 VPS on his system. RE: Tekken 5: Dark Ressurection
Yeah, i just remembered too that we were talking
about that. Well, it can be due to ati gpu. In god of war ghost of sparta i have 50-60 vps, and in other one i have 50 vps. PC Specs: GPU: AMD Radeon R9 270X 2GB GDDR5 (Sapphire Vapor-X) CPU: AMD Ryzen 3 1200 3.9GHz (OC) RAM: 8GB DDR4 2400 MHz MB: ASRock AB350 Pro4 OS: Windows 10 PRO x64 |

Depends, what you say might be more relevant for mobile devices. Most PSP games on PPSSPP don't push the CPU quite as hard as Tekken 6 on the PC. Which I believe is due to an optimization problem in the emulator. Alongside the two God of War games. Which is why I mentioned (for me at least) it is the exception amongst the many, many games I've tested which do not even cause the CPU to break a sweat. How do I know it's CPU limited? Just running the game with the task manager and GPUz on two separate windows and watching the utilizations are enough to verify it. T6 swallows up an entire CPU core at 100% utlization, while my GPU is hardly even working (as is evidenced by the low GPU usage in GPUz). To put it in perspective, reducing or increasing the rendering resolution (GPU dependant) does nothing, switching on/off 2xSSAA (GPU killer) also does nothing to improve the performance. All symptoms of a CPU limited situation for Tekken 6. I can only speak of my observations for my own windows laptop of course. YMMV.
