games not showing up

I just downloaded Ppsspp on my Samsung galaxy s3 and put some psp isos on my phone, but I can not get them to come up when I try to load a game. Its probably something stupid I'm missing but this is my first time using Ppsspp. The files are .rar if that matters.

Any insight would be appreciated, thanks.

There's your problem right there. PPSSPP only supports a certain number of formats for PSP ISOs, the 2 most widely used ones are the .ISO and .CSO formats.

Either unrar your ISOs into the native .ISO format or compress those ISO files into the CSO format to save space. It's up to you.
