RE: God Eater Burst
This is progress!
Good job, [Unknown] and other testers (especially Ritori, I saw your github issues page, aki21 and sfageas) for pressing the issue! Just need to solve the save/load issue (same one like in White Knight Chronicles Origins), and the freeze from at3+ audio. Damn does the game look good in those screenshots, especially without jaggies. RE: God Eater Burst
Looks great but the at3+ freeze is a problem and it is random sometimes.I think it only affects x64 systems?

RE: God Eater Burst
Just tried the game out myself on git revision 0.7.6-745 from orphis (with no atrac3+ support, so at3+ freezes can be discounted)
Works just fine, and goes in game, (no atrac3+ audio heard obviously in the normal build) until I was about to start the 1st mission. PPSSPP just shutdown the game on it's own. Loading previous saves is also problematic, same issue with White Knight Chronicles (where the game doesn't recognise previously saved games, even working ones on the PSP) Here is the logfile:- (from starting a New Game, making a new character, saving it, all the way until it finally crashes on its own at the start of the 1st mission) http://www.mediafire.com/?d9fucalcnyr0c53 PPSSPP Modern Testbed:- Intel Core i5 4690K @ 4.0 GHz NVIDIA Geforce GTX 760 2GB GDDR5 VRAM @ 1138/6500 Mhz 16 GB DDR3 RAM @ 1600 MHz Windows 7 x64 SP1 PPSSPP Ancient Testing Rig:- Intel Core 2 Duo T9550 @ 2.8GHz ATI Mobility Radeon 4670 1GB GDDR3 VRAM @ 843/882 MHz 8 GB DDR3 RAM @ 1066 MHz Windows 7 x64 SP1 |

RE: God Eater Burst
Ritori is correct!
The game can actually enter missions now, and doesn't hang at the start of it! Tested with git revision 0.7.6-779. Thanks [unknown]! Mods, is it safe to say this game might be playable now? The only major remaining issue that previous save games can't be loaded and music still doesn't work. (Like WKC: Origins). Hopefully when this commit/pull request goes through github and is merged into master, the save load issues will be fixed. Mission Screenshots + completion attached for proof. TL; DR Solve the save/load issues, and I dare say the game would be 100% playable. (can already be playable if using save states, but inadvisable as they cannot be transfered to a newer revision) PPSSPP Modern Testbed:- Intel Core i5 4690K @ 4.0 GHz NVIDIA Geforce GTX 760 2GB GDDR5 VRAM @ 1138/6500 Mhz 16 GB DDR3 RAM @ 1600 MHz Windows 7 x64 SP1 PPSSPP Ancient Testing Rig:- Intel Core 2 Duo T9550 @ 2.8GHz ATI Mobility Radeon 4670 1GB GDDR3 VRAM @ 843/882 MHz 8 GB DDR3 RAM @ 1066 MHz Windows 7 x64 SP1 |

RE: God Eater Burst
Scratch that thought lol. It crashes to yet another black screen when starting the 2nd mission in the list after finishing the 1st one. My bad.
Man, I thought whatever fixed the first mission hang would fix all the subsequent mission hangs. I apologize, sfageas, for the misdirection. Here's the logfile when it crashes right before the 2nd mission:- http://www.mediafire.com/?j78o45u2pho28pl and another:- http://www.mediafire.com/?b2r3ge212umrry3 PPSSPP Modern Testbed:- Intel Core i5 4690K @ 4.0 GHz NVIDIA Geforce GTX 760 2GB GDDR5 VRAM @ 1138/6500 Mhz 16 GB DDR3 RAM @ 1600 MHz Windows 7 x64 SP1 PPSSPP Ancient Testing Rig:- Intel Core 2 Duo T9550 @ 2.8GHz ATI Mobility Radeon 4670 1GB GDDR3 VRAM @ 843/882 MHz 8 GB DDR3 RAM @ 1066 MHz Windows 7 x64 SP1 |

RE: God Eater Burst
Did a bit more tesing on 0.7.6-794 (latest git revision)
Apparently the 2nd mission causes a hang/crash, but the 3rd one works if you skip the cutscenes. (You are given a choice of 2 missions to do after the 1st one is complete) Interesting. Voices still work in game. RE: God Eater Burst
You can use save state to get around the saving/loading issue. I've used it at least three times today and haven't encountered a problem. The only issue with save state is you can't carry it over to another build. So you'll have to pick one and stick with it until saving is fully fix.

So you're saying that using the latest git revision on Orphis, (which is now 0.7.6.796), you can play through the second story mission without a problem? I'm referring to the one called "Fallen Angel Egg". Here's a summary of my findings:- Story Mission 1 (Devil's Tail):- Now playable without a crash prior to it. Story Mission 2 (Fallen Angel Egg) :- Hangs with a black screen after the cutscenes. Story Mission 3 (Cowboy) :- Playable without a crash Major mission (Corrupt Coccoon) : - Also hangs with a black screen after heading out.
