RE: Metal Gear Solid Peace Walker
The missions are playable on builds that have the https://github.com/hrydgard/ppsspp/issues/1494 (PS3 HD Remasters edits), which is interesting. The game still installs data every time you boot the game and load/start a new game, though.

Check it out if you like(Windows x86 build uploaded): http://www.mediafire.com/?4q5jmjn318jr8cr

Oh, and uh, I wouldn't recommend using this as your daily PPSSPP build yet. Adding in the extra RAM makes the emulator crash on a lot of games..

RE: Metal Gear Solid Peace Walker
I came here just to say thank you to everyone who is working on PPSSPP.
Seeing such rapid development in Peace Walker as well as the emulator in general is glorious!
I can only dream of a time where we won't need to use horrible bridging methods for our PSPs and can instead play PW with dual sticks in HD online (assuming the networking will be supported at some point as well).
I also wonder if you could make PW run at 60fps by increasing the emulated CPUs clockrate or similar...

RE: Metal Gear Solid Peace Walker
Right you are. I'll test all the missions I can Big Grin
[Image: SYP3kIe.png]

Looks like finishing mission freezes the game. I'll post the log.

It spams this over and over. Looks like it's result of the game's COOP implementation and something to do with PSP's CPU.
56:42:516 Main E[HLE]: HLE\HLE.cpp:473 Unimplemented HLE function sceNetAdhocctlGetState
56:42:534 Main E[HLE]: HLE\HLE.cpp:473 Unimplemented HLE function sceNetAdhocctlGetState
56:42:534 idle0 E[CPU]: Mips\MIPSTables.cpp:887 MIPSCompileOp: Invalid instruction 00000001

And can't you just "borrow" the Data Install implementation from JPCSP? It's getting in the way of testing.

Goes in game with v0.7.6-837-g315559a
Fog can be removed by turning BR off
Sun is black square

Moved to Ingame

Needs further testing of course

If you quit a mission then it will not return in mission selection, instead screen loading will hang

RE: Metal Gear Solid Peace Walker
a bug:the vertical name beside the life meter of a mech battle or the alert percent inside a mission seem to be flipped.

RE: Metal Gear Solid Peace Walker
Yep it still hangs after completing mission. Data Install still doesn't work. The weapon selection is bugged, because you can't see which weapon you are selecting.
