3D VR coming to android

So this guy from a university freiburg machine learning lab developed a 3Rd virtual reality header for smartphone, check it out




Its open source during for the head movements is already seperated from how doom demo for use in other apps. You can apparently build it yourself but they are also releasing a consumer version. It will probably be pretty cheap

Seems like although ridiculous looking, would be pretty cool for ppsspp

Not sure if it could be implemented into PPSSPP (every game has a different engine, so headtracking would be a pain. 3D is possible, though), but it is pretty dang cool.

I think there is a device like this already for PSP, you could see 3D by mounting your PSP like the android device.
Now for 3D on PPSSPP a small modification of that https://code.google.com/p/psp3dplugin/ should do the job.
