Hello all, very late to this, surprised this scene exists at all in 2023, but as far as I can tell nobody ever actually got any cheats working?

Been wanting to revisit some of the older ( and objectively bettter) yu gi oh and naruto games, wanted to use the cheats just to speed up the unlock progress, don't really feel like playing through yu gi oh 15+ full times to unlock all the booster packs in the shop, plus without cwcheat there is no way to get the umd unlockables like the egyptian god cards. Point is I have spent some time reading around before making this post and have yet to find a single working cheat for any games. Even when I have copied the .db files I still have on my psp, those cheats work on the psp itself but not the emulator. Have I missed a post/thread/faq or was this simply never figured out?

@psplover - "largest cheat database" by definition matching all large cheat databases is full of cheats that:
- were made in particular place in the game and assuming working well enough to be shared, but surprise it wasn't safe,
- being made for different game version, but someone changed just game ID and hoped it will work,
- overally poorly made due to quantity over quality.

People sometimes also release cheats with warnings, or exact instructions to follow, ofc. cheat database will have only the cheat itself and maybe instruction in the cheat name, but sometimes without seeing the original post you will not understand how to use some cheat in a safe way.

In the end anything from crashes to permanent savedata corruption is quite normal when using such cheat databases, always backup your data before using them and if they don't work, even if they appear to not do anything harmful either, disable the cheat and restart emulation without using savestates made while that cheat was active as they're already including corruption in the game's memory.

On a side note, nirvada posting above is just a bot, do not recommend clicking on it's spam link.
