need help asap

so i decided to play persona 2 after a couple months of not playing it and i cant find my save data anywhere, it seems to have just been deleted out of nowhere and i dont wanna have to redo 20 hours worth of gameplay, any and all help appreciated

Did you get any messages.? I just checked Tekken 5 and was told that the save was corrupted and had to start from the beginning.
