Odd problem with Worms Open Warfare 2

Hello, I'm new to this forum so I'll try to explain my problem properly.
So today I decided I wanted to play Worms Open Warfare 2 on a PSP emulator, however since I was using a brand new MacBook, I had to find a way around. So instead I used RetroArch for using this PSP emulator. The game so far seemed fine until I ran into a bug where the keyboard wouldn't appear when you tried typing your name in for a new profile. And you need to type in a name for your profile otherwise you cannot save the profile.

Is this just a MacOS/RetroArch problem or is it just the emulator itself?
