is it possible to copy in game text to somewhere else ( like notepad)

the reason i asked this because i recently played a game with japanese language (kanji) , if only i can copy in game text and move it to translator like from google

The only ways to do that would be by:
- copying it from game memory IF the text is stored as text(as it might as well just be textures),
- using OCR(optical character recognition) software.

If all you need this for is for google translate, then best just use an android phone with google translate whatever you point the camera at.
