PPSSPP End of stable version ?
Hi!
I hope you are all well ... Pls, when can we to see stable version? Without seeking to be unkind and without any intention of offending anyone; with respect, but I would like to give my opinion: it's been over a century & not at all (since the last 1.9.3). Hearing the same "Gits" almost every day gets tiresome. It is a pity. There are no more "stable release" ? Thanks & regards |

RE: PPSSPP End of stable version ?
7 months is not a century, there was at least a few longer pauses between releases and soon v1.10 will likely be released since Henrik's is from some time already pushing most non critical issues to 1.11 or future milestones.
Recent builds will not differ much if in any noticable way at all from incoming release, there's no such thing as stable/unstable versions, it's release version which is basically made to collect a lot more bug reports mostly from android app store users and fixing the most crucial issues affecting potato devices quickly after and nightlies which are including every change, "stability" is not really much of a factor here as typically PPSSPP doesn't get much changes that would affect it and most big changes are either rendering fixes/optimizations, missing effects being emulated or new features. There'll be quite a few things broken in last what you called "stable" version vs current as you would probably call it "unstable" one, so yeah don't think about emulator developement in such way. http://forums.ppsspp.org/showthread.php?tid=6594 - Custom PPSSPP Shaders! http://forums.ppsspp.org/showthread.php?tid=3590&pid=117172#pid117172 - simple CE scripts to help creating CWCheats, https://github.com/LunaMoo/PPSSPP_workarounds - CWCheat workarounds. |
