DLC doesn't work in any game
I've ignored this for years because I assumed it simply wasn't supported without having a CFW PSP to decrypt them, but based on what I've been reading today that's not the case. This applies to Ape Quest, Dissidia 012, LittleBigPlanet PSP, Patapon 3, etc. I directly copied the game directories from my PSP itself, including the .edat DLC files. They're located in the memstick directory structure in the proper locations. These games are eboots, not isos. This issue has been present on Windows, Linux, and Android for me. My PSP has a fractured screen and damaged buttons, so while I technically could attempt to load them back to check for updates, that's not going to be a fun process. That also shouldn't be necessary, as I'm fairly sure I had them updated fully before transfer. Am I just missing some detail?
tl;dr: I'm using legally owned games and DLC copied from my PSP's memory stick unmodified, when placed in the correct directories DLC still doesn't work on any platform. EDIT: Retested today, Android version 1.6.3-301-ge51ea8561, Linux version v1.6.3-276-g53f1624 |

RE: DLC doesn't work in any game
DLC's works fine, however many DLC's are only supported by updated game version's and for that you will have to use real PSP to patch the game backup for it to work. That means also extracting PBP files into iso's as PBP can't be edited/modified by any existing tools.
This is required since game's update key is not public and likely never will be, even official PSP emulators made by Sony(for psv and ps3) doesn't have it hence real PSP is required, no decrypting/updating software running outside of PSP will be able to do it. This also means - no your games aren't "fully updated", they are always at the same version which your game backup is aka initial 1.0(and in case of some games released too early even pre 1.0 ;p), ignoring whatever updates you might store in game's folder since it's encrypted and unusable. http://forums.ppsspp.org/showthread.php?tid=6594 - Custom PPSSPP Shaders! http://forums.ppsspp.org/showthread.php?tid=3590&pid=117172#pid117172 - simple CE scripts to help creating CWCheats, https://github.com/LunaMoo/PPSSPP_workarounds - CWCheat workarounds. |

I assumed updating the game on the PSP itself updated the PBP. That's... unfortunate. Guess I'll have to look into getting a PSP I can mod. I have three and all three are practically paperweights at this point. Thanks for the info. |

RE: DLC doesn't work in any game
Luna, how do I do this? I have God Eater burst with dlc on my psp it works fine and on ppsspp it does not, I guess I need to transfer the update not just make a copy of the UMD using my PSP.

See for example https://github.com/hrydgard/ppsspp/issue...-394001544 just ignore the part about game modes as that's game specific.
Edit: in case of GE series decrypting dlc files might also be required, it was for GE2 for sure. http://forums.ppsspp.org/showthread.php?tid=6594 - Custom PPSSPP Shaders! http://forums.ppsspp.org/showthread.php?tid=3590&pid=117172#pid117172 - simple CE scripts to help creating CWCheats, https://github.com/LunaMoo/PPSSPP_workarounds - CWCheat workarounds. |

RE: DLC doesn't work in any game
I use prxdecrypter on my psp, but iso tools can patch the iso on it's own so it's simpler process as long as people don't try to run it on emulator as it will corrupt the iso due to decrypting failure.
Overall only the decrypting part is absolute must to have PSP and it's possible for someone to write a system to replace encrypted game updates with decrypted ones like we have for pauth files(which also require decrypting on real psp) in a way that avoids hard-patching the iso and allows updates on the original pbp's, but soo far there was no interest in such feature since updating is one time process and if someone really wanted, they already have all their game updated or at least keep decrypted updates separately. http://forums.ppsspp.org/showthread.php?tid=6594 - Custom PPSSPP Shaders! http://forums.ppsspp.org/showthread.php?tid=3590&pid=117172#pid117172 - simple CE scripts to help creating CWCheats, https://github.com/LunaMoo/PPSSPP_workarounds - CWCheat workarounds. |

RE: DLC doesn't work in any game
DLC is not working, maybe your phone is not compatible with that version, you can also delete and reload.
