Is there a recovery mode implemented into this emulator?
On an actual PSP, if you hold R when turning on the PSP, the PSP goes into recovery mode where you can enable/disable some things including plugins.
Does this mode exist in PPSSPP? Because I want to enable some plugins that I placed inside Documents>PPSSPP>seplugins |

RE: Is there a recovery mode implemented into this emulator?
Emulator does not support plugins and never will. Most plugin stuff is already implemented in the emulator itself and is far better than those plugins were.
The folder is not for those PSP plugins. No one is going to implement support just for a handful of translations for obscure games. Everything is Hitsuzen! |

If that's a plugin, then no, you can't. You can use cwcheats through which would allow for same things some weird plugin tried to do for no reason whatsoever other than person making it being bored or wanted to advertise his name,no guarantee such cheats exist through, don't have the game, don't care.

Ok, no need to get rude. I wish it was implemented into the emulator though, the cheats feature doesn't really help spawning the unused content. But thanks anyway. |

I wasn't rude, the I don't care about games I don't own is a fact statement and means I have no information about it's existing cheats nor will ever make new ones.
And such specialized per-game cheat plugin would do nothing better than actual cheat plugin, just because you can't find same cheats, doesn't mean they can't be made, it just means whoever cared to make those cheats choosen to release them for his own app instead doing it for something which was universally supported in existing apps for whatever reason. http://forums.ppsspp.org/showthread.php?tid=6594 - Custom PPSSPP Shaders! http://forums.ppsspp.org/showthread.php?tid=3590&pid=117172#pid117172 - simple CE scripts to help creating CWCheats, https://github.com/LunaMoo/PPSSPP_workarounds - CWCheat workarounds. |

RE: Is there a recovery mode implemented into this emulator?
sadly no there isnt support and cw cheats are broken just a few games work with cheats.
@lunamoo and forcing players to use a guide you made is pointless since the emulator should work more properlly as a psp instead of the other way around and making the same mistake as other developers that made an emulator and created a system that was unusable on real hardware but worked fine on the emu this is why the emulator should be able to use plugins right now according to the updates logs but still broken. if there are cheats then why lose time creating a cheat that would work just once with cheat engine because the address get restarted after closing the game intead of loading a plugin and use the code as many times you want with the press of a button. |
