Dont forget. Many of those "bots" are not bots. They are actual people who get paid chump change for spamming on internet. So capchas and such really are useless.

Was disabling forum search some unplanned bug or required by one of those new anti-bot features/plugins?

Slightly annoying to not being able to find even my own posts when they don't turn up on google site search:3, but I guess one of those new things finally won vs bots.

Also another fun strategy of spammers is to hire a warez (pirated content) site and then the capchas you are solving to download your pirated psp game is being used to bypass some poor forum somewhere and make their lives hell.

Sometimes I wonder if you're a bot that passed even those new anti-bot features. Because you were like 2 clicks away from checking yourself that all stuff using search function currently doesn't work, yet you bothered to "guide" me about something that nobody would ever need a guide.
