Save State Hacking
All I want is to edit my main character stat. Thats all. I dont care what method is there as long as it work. There only two method I know which are via Cheat engine or Save state hacking. If there other method that work, please tell me. idk what to search on google.
So, I tried to hack MY save state using this guide "fantasyanime[dot]com/save-state-hacking" . The problem is the value i tried to find is way too many. I also cannot find definite pattern for that value. The game: Valkryia Chronicle 2. The value: Stat of Avan Hardin. Software I use to hack/search (technically it should be crack since I modify the data but I digress) : cygnus Current value: Stat : Actual value : Hex Value Name : Avan Hardin : 41 76 61 6e 20 48 61 72 64 69 6e HP : 284 :11c AP : 450 :1c2 Shoot : 21 : 15 Evade :16 : 10 List of fail hex: Code: 011c 01c2 0015 0010. Fail. |

To be honest I am not entirely sure that the individual character stats are even read by the game. Since individual characters don't level stats, but only change class and overall classes can be leveled bit even then the main reason to do that is to unlock new orders and eventually recruits.
The weapon/armor/ect you equip might be what you should attempt to hack since that does have an individual effect on the character's performance. If you can change what it gives it might actually show an effect. |

No wonder cheat engine cannot find the value.Thanks for pointing me out. Ok, lets go with another perspective. Weapon stat edit.
Update: Meh... idk how to do this thing... It make me wonder how @lunamoon find all that weapon stat in Monster Hunter 3rd HD. update2: Code: Stat for galian 2: my head hurt. This should be fun learning process... OTL" |

Try changing which weapon is equiped to Avan and see which values change in relation to doing that and try a direct edit on what the value is for the weapon he has equiped instead of editing the value of the weapon itself.
