PPSSPP crashes on pause

I'm having trouble using the pause function in PPSSPP. Doesn't matter what I do it crashes, I tried setting it to other keys on the keyboard, tried setting it on the control and even tried it using the option of "Pause" when the screen is in window mode, I also tried other games to see if maybe it was just specific games but they all crash when I press pause.

I'm using Linux: Ubuntu Mate
PPSSPP Version: 1.2.2

Still having found a fix for this, I tried to re-install but it didn't work.

For anyone else having an Issue with the pause in the linux version, just uninstall the stable version and install from the testing branch. it works perfect.
