Strange Android bug with Vulkan

OK so switching to Vulkan and using it works fine, but when closing the app and starting it again things get weird. The image is upside down (see image).

It's not actually using Vulkan yet, that's just a weird side effect of having a small part of it enabled. I have removed the Vulkan option on Android for now, until I can fix detection and use properly.

Yup, this happens to me on a Samsung Galaxy S4 mini as soon as I switch to Vulcan backend. Oh well, back to OpenGL for the meantime.

hi guys, newbie here. im sorry if this has been asked before but how do you used the vulkan on android? i bought the ppsspp gold version from the playstore but it doesnt have the vulkan backend option. oh im using mi mix with custom android 7 rom. thanks in advanced.

If you don't have the option to select the Vulkan backend, then your GPU drivers don't have support for it. Or PPSSPP is not detecting it properly on your device. Check the PPSSPP Settings/Tools/System Information option to see if you have vulkan listed.
