Can't find the download folder on ppsspp

I have played many fames on the ppsspp app, usually when I get a new game I go to a folder in the app called downloads, this is where they are able to be opened and played.
Today tho, I turned my phone on and my recent games history was gone and so was that folder. The games save data is still tjere but I can't find the actual games.
Can anyone help?

If you are running Android 6.0, you may have to press the new button at the bottom of the screen, Allow access to data or whatever it was called, to give PPSSPP permission to show the contents of your data partition.
