Phantasy Star Portable 2 LAN
Haven't been able to connect 2 PCs using the configuration defined below.
Tried to follow the stickied guide. (With WLAN router, should "Enable built-in PRO ad hoc server" be left disabled for all?) PCs: Windows 7, PPSSPP 1.1.1 Windows 7, PPSSPP 1.1.1 OS X 10.11, PPSSPP 1.1.1 [Dev Working]. WLAN router: Linksys EA6900 Game: Phantasy Star Online Portable 2 Network settings: "Enabling networking/WLAN" enabled on all PCs. One PC chosen as host. IPv4 address of this PC is determined. [Windows: Command prompt --> ipconfig] [Mac: Network Preferences --> Advanced --> TCP/IP] "Change PROad hoc server IP address" is set to host IPv4 address for all PCs. "Enable built-in PRO ad hoc server" is enabled for host. . Game started on all PCs. Multiplayer mode selected. Host selects form party. Other PCs select join party. Other PCs did not find the party. . Other attempts: "Enable built-in PRO ad hoc server" disabled for host. "Enable built-in PRO ad hoc server" is enabled for all PCs. Mac as host. Windows as host. Considerations: Do network settings need to be set before beginning to run the game? If network settings change while in the multiplayer party form/find screen: Does a new party need to be formed? Does multiplayer need to be exited and entered? Does the game need to be reset? . User lumune suggested these: (12-01-2014 11:05 AM)lumune Wrote: Graphics: Texture Scaling: Upscaling Level: Off |

RE: Phantasy Star Portable 2
Ok... So I am completely new to this kind of thing, and I am wondering if anyone would be willing to make a "tutorial for idiots" on how to make an ad-hoc connection with Hamachi on PC, that will work with Phantasy Star for me.
I really have no idea about these kinds of things, so please, keep it simple ;-; |

Phantasy Star Portable 2 Same PC Ad Hoc
Hey there ^^
I've been trying to get Phantasy Star Portable 2's Multiplayer to work on my PC through Ad Hoc by running 2 instances, but it just isn't working. One instance hosts, then the other joins, I get a bunch of messages saying "PPSSPP Joined", "Someone left", and it just gives "A network error has occured" after a while. I'm using v1.1.1-202-AdHoc_Stuff-chatSimple build. I've noticed that on the compatibility list, it says that it should work on v0.9.9.1-937. I tried, but when one instance hosts, the other instance can't even see its room. I'm assuming that, Same PC Ad-Hoc wasn't implemented back in that build? And if so, is there any way to play Phantasy Star Portable 2 Multiplayer on the same PC? All help is appreciated, Thank you very much. |

"ad hoc local chat simple" < that is not a typo that is not a joke u need version of ppsspp which have that in name well at last for me nothing else did work for hosting 2 games on 1 pc Try AntiMicro graphical program used to map keyboard keys and mouse controls to a gamepad/controller. http://forums.ppsspp.org/showthread.php?tid=12513 or http://www.x360ce.com |

RE: Phantasy Star Portable 2 Same PC Ad Hoc
Try PPSSPP-v1.2.1-31-Adhoc_stuff-chatSimple http://soft.ctfile.com/info/S3Y44488
The older builds I add a hack adhoc fixed for GVGNP but unfortunately broken Phantasy Star Portable |
