Quick question. I'm running this through PPSSPP on my son's laptop that's using intel HD 3000 graphics (i5-2520M). The game runs pretty decent except for a few little hiccups here and there.
What I wanted to ask was will the standard version (I have all the pauth files) run better than the HD version given the texture sizes? I figured if I can make it run a little smoother then he'd have more fun. |

Hi everyone, I'm getting an issue when launching MHP3rd hd version. This is on the newest release (1.1.0-4-g371e7ab) on windows 8.1 64 bit. On previous version (.9.8) PPSSPP just crashed entirely. In this case, the game just sits a black screen after I click to launch the game. Freedom Unite works, and this game has worked in the past |

On the few other computers and devices I've tried, they've run exactly the same, or the regular version got maybe one or two FPS higher. Have you tried restoring the emulator's settings to default, or using a fresh save file (back up your old one, of course)? I know the ISO worked on my old laptop last year, and that was with .9.9 or something. But I tried many versions of PPSSPP and they either just crash or hang without actually loading. I can access the menu with ESC though, and that brings up the settings with the mhp3rd background. I also tried this on my tablet and I get the same thing. Idk where I can get a legal copy of this game though, so is there anyway to verify an ISO? |

PPSSPP Crashes on MHP3rd HD
PPSSPP crashes everytime I try to open MHP3rd HD ISO file. It shows a black screen with the controls visible for about a second and it goes "unfortunately PPSSPP has stopped working". I'm using a Zenfone 5 with the 1.1.1 version of PPSSPP. I really want to play P3rd. Someone help please?

I did some thorough research on google a bit and found quite a load of cwcheats for MHP 3rd HD ver, AKA NPJB40001.

FPS locked?
Hi, new user here. I have a problem while running Monster Hunter Portable 3rd HD edition on my PPSSPP. Before this I usually get 60 fps in cutscenes and 30 fps during gameplay with absolutely no problems whatsoever.
Up until 10 minutes ago, where my in game fps was suddenly capped to 15. I have no idea why this is happening but I can't seem to be able to bring it back to its regular 30 fps. The game's fps during cinematics however, is still a clean 60fps. What is going on and how do I fix it? The game's cinematics run at a clean 60 fps, no problem. The in-game menus and gameplay are capped to 15 fps, for unknown reasons. I don't remember changing any options or pressing anything that could mess it up. |

Need some assistance with a bug.
I've been playing Monster Hunter P3rd HD for awhile now, and this glitch is finally getting to me. The issue with the glitch is that it is ruins the game for me graphically a lot and monsters can get covered by the glitched plants, they show up, but there is this 'transparent' part of the texture that covers stuff. I'm not quite sure how to describe it. I have screenshots, but I can't find a single place on the forums that lets me post screenshots/imgur links. I'm playing on Windows 10, but had the same issue with Windows 7. I do have the most up to date version at the moment of PPSSPP. If somebody could please help me with this, I would be extremely grateful, this is getting really annoying, Monster Hunter Freedom Unite doesn't do this...
