I do not have the game, but a friend of mine had it on PPSSPP and had no text, he found out that this bug only happens to him if he used the D3D9 backend , when he switched to OpenGL the bug wasn't present anymore and he could see the texts.
I don't know either if newer builds have fixed that D3D9-only problem, but worth trying them if you can't play in OpenGL |

Phantasy star portable 2's Clipping camera
I think a lot of people have had this problem, but again, i haven't been able to find an answer, which sucks because this is kind of a deal breaker for me. Has anyone found a solution?

If you mean that old issue~:
- look at the hack list in the graphic settings, - notice the one hidden under ~ completely unrelated lol^^ ~ name "Depth range hack(Phantasy Star Portable 2)", - check it, - profit. That is unless you're using latest nightlies, as it was partially broken after merging #7920, meaning any build from v1.0.1-849-g12884ec and newer until someone finds a way to make it work together will have small glitches with the hack activated. So just use any older build for now. Another PSP2 crash issue
So, after about 2 or 3 minutes into my second mission in phantasy star 2, the emulator crashes on me and now, i can't start any mission without a crash.
i used some cheats from forums.ppsspp.org/showthread.php?tid=5864 but i'm not sure if that is the reason. I swear this game hates me |

Did you tried starting the game normally(loading ingame save,not save state)and without using cheats? I have almost 200 hours on that game I it didn't crash even once. i've been having a particularly stubborn problem with a cwcheat code
_C0 Storage Slot 1 Modifier _L 0x20A10F90 0x0x03200901 not working for whatever reason. most of the cwcodes for this game don't work all that well, so if anyone could give me a storage slot modifier that works, that would be very appreciated |

Long time not using ppsspp for phantasy star and now the draw distance bug was fix that was great progress.
now i see it implemented dx9 and i see some effect like glowing on elemental weapon was shown only on dx9, it was bug (my driver or windows) or it still working on progress for OPENGL? thank you |
