While Trails in the Sky and the other legend of heroes games are great (except for LoH: Song of the Ocean, it's a fun game but the localization was done rather poorly) that series is more of a turn based RPG and not an action RPG (12-24-2013 05:57 AM)globe94 Wrote: * oh! and i forgot to post.. Lets see, what are some good action RPGS?... Well the ones that leap out at me the most on the psp are probably God Eater Burst (Oh god I hupe its sequel gets released for psp in the USA) and the Monster Hunter series which you already know about and how great they are, next on my list would be Phantasy star portable 1 and 2 but they suffer from some rather bad graphical glitches on PPSSPP. After those I would probably recommend Star Ocean 1 and 2 as they have rather good story along with a rather large synthesis and skill system. Oh and if you enjoy dungeon crawling grind fest action RPGs that have a habit of alternating between "alright this seems pretty easy" and "OH MY GOD WHAT IS WRONG WITH THIS GAME" then go with the Valhalla Knights series. |

@grimmer : yeah, lumines is best game, but i play this game in java ME version
@all : because im a racing genre lover, i recommend 1. Wipeout pure & pulse (fantastic graphic, cool AG Ships & techno - electronica musics) 2. Ridge racers 1 & 2 (same as wipeout, but in a car. 12 AI Racers) 3. Gran turismo (best racing simulator game, more than 700 cars including bugatti veyron) 4. Motorstorm: arctic edge (extreme racing, enable photo mode, real crashes) 5. Burnout legends (beautiful crashes) |

RE: Recommended PPSSPP Games Thread
Anyone ever played Shining Force for Sega Genesis...this is actually the only strategy I ever liked.
You get new character by advancing the story and each character is fixed type with fixed skills and the total number of characters are not a lot I'll strategy rpg games I've seen till now are all about getting/buying units/characters and customizing them(changing classes and so on)...this is something I don't like. I think Jane D'Arc is similar to Shining Force but I'm not 100% sure and the game don't work very well on ppsspp(it works but not perfect yet) Any other game? I liked the Shinning Force EXA for Playstation 2, an excelent RPG, I recommend for everyone. Unfortunately doesn't exist any game like this for PSP, and the Shining Blade serie for PSP is not like the Shining Force for PS2.
Phones: Poco F3 8GB/256GB (Snapdragon 870 5G) and Redmi Note 6 Pro 4/64GB (Snapdragon 636) PC: AMD Ryzen 5 3600 / 16GB RAM DDR4 3600MHz / NVIDIA GTX 1660 Ti 6GB / Windows 10 Pro |
