Enabling Simulate UMD Delay and forcing the clock to 222 stops PPSSPP from crashing after the initial fight, though you only get a black screen.

So, is there any fix for this? Using the latest version of ppsspp (1.1.1) and it still has the same problem, black screen right after the first fight (subway). Maybe is the iso bad?

As always the new version comes out (1.2.1) and the first thing I get is the disappointment of this game not running. I think it's actually gotten worse. I can't even get into the game now using the direct 3d renderer.

Starting from v1.2.2-946-gad0167c should be playable with default settings. Can be moved to playable section ~ thanks to sum2012 for fixing it.

Also reminder about something discovered earlier in this thread, there is a different crash this game might have while entering "moves" menu, it's caused by incorrect/incomplete game dump, has nothing to do with emulation, if you get it, re-dump your iso from original UMD.

For people that are new to using cheats:
- follow guide from this post,
- make sure you activate the cheat inside cheat menu(should be a tick near the cheat name),
- also make sure you leave [Disable] code deactivated or even avoid copying it, it's there mostly to revert the patch without having to restart.
