RE: Patapon 2
how do you load the save data to the game? What folder do you put the save state in? I'm on iOS btw. Any help would be greatly appreciated Smile

I don't really know anything about iOS, however I think that you have to locate the PSP folder (I have it in the root of my microSD, you should have somewhere where data is), there you will find the SAVEDATA folder where you have to copy all the UCES01177_DATA** folders (that are in the zip that I linked before).

RE: Patapon 2
Well, the game really does work if we use saved game, but there is a problem. Im using ppsspp on android (v0.7.5-14-g17a3b75). Smothness of the game and its video quality (along with fps) are playable, however, some of sounds are missing. They are simpy gone or replaced by some kind of strange hum. I wouldn't normally complain about missing part of sound, but in this game it's quite crucial. Issue that irritates me the most is lack of drums sound (as it should allow me to keep the beat). I hope you could look into it : ). Thanks for all your work.

RE: Patapon 2
Version: v0.7.6-227-g35b6d27
OS: WinXP
Status: Playable.

I was able to start a new game, watch the whole intro, import my saves from Patapon 1 and finish first 3 levels (including tutorial). Works at full speed, but the level select screen seems kinda slow.
Edit: well, it suffers from massive slowdowns if there are many enemies on the screen. Or that's just my old core2duo 2,5GHz.

RE: Patapon 2
Version: v0.7.6-515-g1b5afa
OS: WinXP
Status: Even more playable than before

After a few weeks I finally decided to test a new version of ppsspp. No more slowdowns and you can even hear music on the level select screen. Good job, guys, really great optimization.

Edit: 30 in-game hours later I defeated the final boss only to find out that you can't watch the outro nor skip it. This means you can't access end-game content and farm the final boss until we get better mpeg support.

using v0.7.6-1287 build ,the stuck has been fixed. and seems it support savestates eventhough using different ppsspp version but it turned on the pop-up message . ( just confirmed for patapon 2 only coz it loaded my savestates ,previous build cant do that)) good thing for peoples using different builds to test the game.

What are the best settings for this game I'm running on a nexus 7 tablet , it. Runs almost perfect just the sound stutters and it goes from 60fps to like 40 as soon as I play

RE: Patapon 2
Due to WLAN problems, it is impossible to use the Patagate, even when choosing "play solo". The Patagate is a pretty significant portion of the game and without it there's no way to get new stats or abilities for your hero. Until this can be fudged Patapon 2 is going to be severely limited.

RE: Patapon 2
Hey guys! I just got into PPSSPP after I picked up a nice little android device, and I have an issue with this game... It' a specific level, and after you beat it the game just force quits, and on Windows it "Stops working". I tried turning off fast memory and a few other settings, but it still crashes. I did test it on two completely different opperating systems, so I know this has to be an issue with the emulator itself.

The level is called "Two Karmens", and as soon as it's about to display the "Mission complete!" text the game stops. I have attempted to beat the level about 3 times, and used a save state right before you're about to win, and it still crashes. Here's the Windows error report:

I attached a few pictures showing the level and the exact time it crashes. I also attached a save state so you can try it yourself, the Windows emulator will yell at you about aborting the save state (Because it's a state from Android) but it still works and gives you the same output.

I hope this can be resolved, I really want to beat this game! I had it on a real PSP and I never finished it because I sold my PSP for better things, now that I have this I would love to use it!

And the Save State: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/3747....00_0.ppst

Thanks! And now that I think about it, let me know if I just have a bad backup, meaning if it works for you let me know and I'll re-write another.

RE: Patapon 2
Game works awesome on the latest build, just the occasional FPS hiccups you get used to if you're an avid emulation gamer Smile

But the Patagate/Paraget thing is depressing. Has there been any workaround/fix for this at the moment?

Hoping for a workaround? Smile (BUMP) Maybe there's a specific build that can help with this?
