RE: tony hawk project 8
If you turn off the JIT in development settings, does it run without crashes? Obviously it will be quite a bit slower though.

RE: tony hawk project 8
Latest SVN versions of PPSSPP seem to fix all problems. No crashes and now it saves without any problems.

with Non-buffered rendering, sometimes character dissapering and textures. also frameskipping can cause texture loss

and slowdowns on snapdragon 800

Nice improvement on Tegra 3 with 0.9.6-610 build with buffered rendering.
Sadly, it still have a lot problems with non-buffered.
I'll test newest build later.

RE: tony hawk project 8
With the latest 0.9.9 Play Store version, the game runs but it's quite slow. If I turn any sort of frame skipping on, the screen flickers like crazy. Is there a workaround for this or another way to speed it up?

2013 Nexus 7.

Thanks!

To evade flickering with frameskip - turn MultiThreaded off and in game push start twice.

I think it's because of a transperent 2d hud.
This works for 0.9.9.1 - 54.

RE: tony hawk project 8
Thanks! I already had the setting off, it was the double start that did it!

Now another question. Amy way to get the music to play smoothly as well? Or are we not there yet.

Thanks!

Strange Problems with Tony Hawk's Project 8
My system specs:
HP ENVY 6 Notebook PC
AMD A10-4655M APU with Radeon HD Graphics 2.0
6 GB RAM
Windows 7
64-bit Operating System
-----

So I've been playing 'Tony Hawk's Project 8' on the latest build of the PPSSPP emulator with absolutely no problems (well aside from a few textures and shadows glitching out but it didn't bother me.) Now however when I try to load up the game on PPSSPP it crashes after checking the memory to load my save, so I have to open the 'save state' I made with PPSSPP but if I do that I cannot change the level or go to the menu because objects will suddenly disappear like the HUD or any text in-game. What happened to cause this problem?? Is the save corrupted or something?

RE: Tony Hawk's Project 8
Great. So I just won't get a reply for a few months if I'm lucky and by that time I'll have moved on. Might as well just delete the save data and start over. xD

That's part of the rules, we keep only one thread per game.
And I doubt you will get more replies by creating duplicate threads...

RE: Tony Hawk's Project 8
Makes sense and sounds fair enough. Tongue I started a new game regardless and it's working fine now. Not sure what went wrong with the last one but I was pretty close to the end of the game. Thank god this game has some replay value. lol
