Requeriments for a Good Performance

Well, judging by my Samsung S3's performance (1,4ghz Exynos/ Mali 400) you'd need a phone about 2-3 times as fast to run almost everything at full speed on the current version of PPSSPP.

Since newer phones like the S4 have only around 35% more power than this, I guess the hardware might catch up in 2015-16.

But as Henrik and the team are going forward, I hope that PPSSPP optimizations, coupled with 2014's top phone releases, will enable full speed next year... for the lucky S5 (and similar HTC, Nexus) phone owners. Too bad I will still have one more year to go with the S3 on my current carrier's plan
