RE: Increasing quality in games.
Graphics:

- Hardware Transform: On
- Vertex Cache: On
- Stream VBO: Off
- Mipmapping: On/Off (Doesn't affect the perfomance, some games need it to be Off to work properly)
- Display Raw Framebuffer: Off
- Buffered Rendering: Off
- Force Nearest Filtering: Off
- Force Linear Filtering: On (If you see textures pixelated, doesn't affect perfomance)
- Anisotropic Filtering: 16x
- Vps Limit: Off
- Frame Skipping: 1

If you are getting low VPS with these settings then turn Buffered Rendering On (The game will look uglier but it will be faster, sometimes turning Buffered Rendering off gives a a little more speed, only for some games), but it also depends of your device resolution, if you have a low resolution then you will get more VPS even if Buffered Rendering is Off.

System:

- Dynarec (JIT): On
- Fast Memory: On (Only if it doesn't crash the game you will play)

Audio:

- Enable Sound: If you are getting good VPS with the previous setting then turn it On.
- Atract3+ Sound: If you don't hear all the sounds and you are getting good VPS then turn it on. (It consumes lots of CPU).

Test

With the previous settings I get these VPS:

- DBZ Shin Budokai 2: 48 - 52 VPS while fighting, 60 FPS with Menus, Stories etc... (There is a decrease of 3 - 5 VPS with sound enabled and At3+)
- Wipeout Pulse: 15 - 22 VPS while racing, 35 - 45 FPS with menus. (There was only a difference of 2 VPS with sound enabled and At3+)
- DBZ Tenkiaichi Tag Team: 24 - 35 VPS while fighting, 30 - 48 VPS with Menus. (There was only a difference of 2 - 3 VPS with sound enabled and At3+)
- Persona 3: 18 - 27 VPS while fighting, 29 - 36 VPS while explorin Tartarus (Surprisingly it gives -7 VPS if Buffered Rendering is On) 28 - 60 VPS with Menus, Stories, etc... (It depends how much it is showing) (There was no difference with sound enabled and At3+)

Having Buffered Rendering On gives more VPS but it will look worse, so is up to you.

I tested these games with a Lenovo S2109 with 1GB Ram, 1Ghz Dual Core, PowerVr 540SGX.
