[Windows] Custom controls on pad

vnctj I have a question for you my friend.... how do you make Xpadder act like a key is pressed once and let go, even when you are holding down the button on your physical joystick? For example, I have a stick shifter. I will assign gear 1 on the shifter to Key A on the keyboard:

When I put the shifter into gear 1, it stays in gear 1... BUT, I want xpadder to think I am pressing Key A one time and letting it go, or "tapping" it. I don't want the keyboard key held down. How do you do this?
