Tekken 6 multiplayer disconnects after a while

So my friend and I like to play Tekken 6 together.

Whenever fighting, however, our health bars tend to get desynced. Sometimes, I've already won in my instance of the game, but he's still fighting in his game. This gets us disconnected.

Usually, only our health bars our desynced; our inputs remain the same. Occasionally though, my character does weird things I didn't input on my friend's phone, and I have no idea what causes it.

This has happened on every version of PPSSPP we have played on.

Fast memory off
I/O timing method is set to host
Real clock sync forced
PSP clock on auto
Cheats disabled
