Skip buffer effects which you're using is a speedhack that will cause black screen in any game that requires buffers to display their graphics and is probably exactly your experience. Even in games where it's able to display some graphics it will usually be glitchy or simply missing some graphics, especially effects.

Honestly if your pc would be old enough to require such settings, to avoid disappointments you would better forget about psp emulation until you will be able to upgrade or at least expect the black screen in lots of more demanding games as a feature.
