Resident Evil Remake for the Gamecube. Probably the best version of the original that restarted the entire Survivor Horror Genre. Then after that I'd recommend Silent Hill 2 on PC. It's one of the best of the series which introduces the infamous Pyramid Head character.

If you like something different, give Dino Crisis for PS1 a go. It's survivor horror with dinosaurs.
