New to ppsspp?
The android versions of the emulator has a much lower compatibility with many games
There are a few games that run pretty smoothly on lower end android phones
By lower end I mean a decent dual/quad core with 512 mb ram
A single core phone will not run games smoothly
Maybe just a few

Working 100% speed(Android)
0.9.8
Dbz shin 2
Fifa street 2
Fight Night 3
Spiderman 2
Lord of arcana
Soul caliber
Miami Vice
Gladiator begins
3rd birthday

0.9.5
Tenkaichi tag dbz (only works on ver. 0.9.5-7
D12: Final Fantasy (works on 0.9.8 but lags less on 0.9.5)

Noir A10 android
arm7 1ghz quad core 512mb ram
Power VR

Settings I Use

Fast men (on)
Multi thread(on)
Io on thread(on) (sometimes disabling this may give better performance)
Graphics--+
Non buffered rendering( buffered render for Sf alpha/ fight night/ dead2rights/fight night)

Frame skip (off)
Alternative speed (25%)

Features ( all off)
Performance (all on except retain textures)
Texture filter (auto)

Hacks all on( except depth write)

These settings should work with all games I've tested(android)

Sf alpha max 3 works great too
