In general, the latest dev build is almost always a sure bet, with a few exceptions.

When reporting issues to us, the first thing we'll ask you to do is to update to the latest dev build anyway, since many fixes that aren't in the last official builds are pushed in the dev builds.

If you're on Windows/Linux/MacOS/Desktop, you can run multiple builds side by side with no issues from the same working ppsspp folder.
