Adhoc Server Pro Online : local + online server in the same time

Hello all,
I just tested this ad hoc server with evolve and it works just fine but my question is :
Can you connect to the server locally and see players that connects with a vpn or the internet IP ?
I've made some tests and it seems that it don't work...
Just like making local host or 127.0.0.1 for the player who host the server don't work too ?
Is there a version that works for this kind of mixed server ?
