What is on the video is most likely a wrapper with a PS4 capture integrated into it.

Also, as far as I'm aware, it's much easier to reverse engineer PS4 than PS3, since PS4 is structurally much closer to the PC and PS4's hardware components seem to be decently well documented, I could be wrong on that, though.
