RE: Console games will be killed?
Streamed games cannot be perfect because the latency of the connection is not fast enough to support real-time action games. The commands will be delayed and 100ms is noticeable.

A laptop may not be able to run whatever AAA title just released the previous week.I pointed the problems of smartphones. It is not the problem of handheld consoles, such as PSP and 3DS. The problem of smartphones is the lack of console-quality games. PSP and DS have lots of console-quality games. Quote:Will I stop playing games entirely? No, I'll just only play my old games. I have a big backlog anyway.Me too. I started playing game in the 2000s and I had the entire 1990s game to play. The volume of options available now is so huge. Furthermore, mods and hacks increase the quantity of available options. I still have not played most of the 2010s game, the exception are indie games. PC is the best option. It supports mods and cheats. Currently, consoles require the installation of the game and that is what I hate about PC games. The advantage is gone. PC supports many types of controllers too. Online multiplayer is better on PC because one of the players will be the server. It means that it will continue playable after the end of the support. |
