PPSSPP Crashing AMD Legacy Drivers Windows 7

can i just update it or should i download a newer version? i was thinking of updating my amd drivers using amd auto detect driver downloader, but it was suggesting a different driver than what was installed. i was wondering if it would make a difference?

i was making a wrong turn with using the x64 bit .exe file of ppsspp, when i tried what solarmystic suggested using ati ogl driver and used the ppssppwindows.exe (without the "64") the problem went away! though i'm still wondering what could be the cause? since maybe the ati ogl driver might only be a temporary solution and i want to fix whatever this problem is.O_O WHAT COULD IT BE??? anyway thanks cybercjt for your time and to solarmystic for the ati ogl link.

anyway cybercjt i'll take you up for your suggestion maybe i do need to update ccc. so how should i do it? windows update doesn't display updates for ccc...
